This year, AASHE is pleased to have several dynamic speakers join as Parallel Plenary presenters on a variety of high profile topics. More plenary speakers will be announced shortly!

Partnering Social Justice with Sustainability: A Challenge to Expand Our Understanding of Inclusivity Jordana invites us to examine our institutions’ pedagogies, policies, and practices with a critical curiosity, asking questions like, “Whose interests and identities are represented in our curricula and institutional commitments?,” and “How are we creating conditions for as many voices as possible to be heard?”

Sustainability: Changing the Operating System This documentary film will have its world premier at the AASHE Conference and will weave together systems thinking, a concern about future generations, and the integration of learning about the environment, the economy, and social equity – the 3 “E”s, which higher education for sustainability requires.
